Convergence of 3D printed biomimetic wound dressings and adult stem cell therapy

چکیده

Biomimetically designed medical-grade polycaprolactone (mPCL) dressings are 3D-printed with pore architecture and anisotropic mechanical characteristics that favor skin wound healing reduced scarring. Melt electrowritten mPCL seeded human gingival tissue multipotent mesenchymal stem/stromal cells cryopreserved using a clinically approved method. The regenerative potential of fresh or frozen cell-seeded dressing is compared in splinted full-thickness excisional rat model over six weeks. application decreased contracture significantly improved regeneration through granulation re-epithelialization to control groups. Combining biomimetic precursor cell delivery enhances physiological closure scar formation.

Adult Stem Cell Therapy in Chronic Wound Healing

Normal wound healing is a dynamic and complex process involving coordinated interactions between diverse immunological and biological systems. If a wound does not heal in an orderly and timely sequence, or if the healing process does not result in structural integrity, then the wound is considered chronic. It is easy to define a chronic wound, but finding a solution is a complicated matter. Con...
